"I'm a local, so I shouldn't make any rash contact with the [Church of Creation]. You go ahead, I'll stay home and wait for Galina and the others to arrive."
The distance from Fragrant Abode to Candlekeep Library was short, so Shad wasn't in a hurry to set off. However, Viggo didn't ask Shad to continue telling stories, but instead inquired whether he wanted to prepare potions or healing materials in advance.
