Chapter 4018 AllSpark VS AllSpark

Chapter 4018 AllSpark VS AllSpark

Chapter 4018 AllSpark VS AllSpark

Although the other party had most likely become an enemy, looking at the metal mechanical giant, Iluna still had to admit that the golem's appearance was indeed quite impressive.

"Construct Master, are you prepared to betray the Church of Creation?"

"Thunder Fury" Gareth Sander, standing beside Iluna, asked loudly in the rain, without immediately taking action. A battle erupting between the thirteen rings of the Church of the Righteous God was a very serious matter.

"Or perhaps, this is an action you took on behalf of certain individuals within the [Creation Church]?"

This was a rather serious accusation. The ring mages belonging to the Church of Creation on the ground paled in the rain and steam, while the outsiders who had come to investigate became slightly wary.

The thirteenth-circle sorcerer "Construct Master," who had fought alongside Shad on different battlefields and even met Shad before most witches because he had already appeared in Coldwater Harbor, calmly gave his reply while standing on the golem's shoulder:

"This is not betrayal, but simply choosing a different path. I still follow the path of the [Lady of Creation], but I no longer obey the orders of the Holy See."

I knew the 'Twisted Life Spark' was no good, which is why I secretly supported the research on the [Spark Source]. This Spark Source is very stable, and we have already found a stable way to utilize it. If it weren't for the investigation by you heretics, this incident would never have happened.”

The people who had chased after the golem from its feet had now emerged from the cave onto the surface. A small number remained at the golem's feet, while the majority joined the people on the ground. The "Construct Master" was clearly not alone; some members of the church had chosen to side with him at this moment.

"Should the [Creation Church] split?"

The youngest person present, Iluna, thought to herself that she felt neither anger nor regret, but simply that this was yet another tricky problem she had encountered.

Mr. Sander of the Church of the Sun and Ms. Ingram of the Church of Nature were still trying to communicate with each other to figure out what the other wanted to do, while most of the people present were already prepared for battle.

The blazing golem, its entire body seemingly engulfed in solid flames, was the same. Now, the "Source of the AllSpark" was surrounded by a metal ritual base inscribed with ancient runes, no longer simply embedded in metal. The life force within the Source of the AllSpark was being drawn out like a volcanic eruption, and its burning fiery eyes now looked at everyone who met its gaze as if they were alive.

The golem's chest area even turned a dazzling crimson red, while the crimson light continued to drive the enormous metallic life form's evolution on the rest of its brass body. Its height and shape didn't change much, but its internal evolution was enough to drive any professor studying the evolution of life mad.

But just as the "Spark" was operating at full power, Iluna noticed that it wasn't just the Ringwitch emerging from the huge hole in the ground; a blurry, emerald-green, glowing figure, as if forcibly drawn by the Spark, also rose up from the opening.

The glowing figure possessed an extremely strong whispering quality; in Iluna's eyes, it was practically indistinguishable from a "humanoid relic."

"What is this?"

The emerald light rapidly approached the "source of fire" on the golem's chest, and so not only Iluna, but everyone else also saw the light.

Clearly, the "Construct Master" didn't know what it was either, but in order to prevent the light and shadow from affecting the "Spark Source," which served as the energy core, the golem's huge right hand abandoned its forward-slamming attack and instead reached out to grab the emerald green light and shadow.

The green light was incredibly fast; the golem touched it almost instantly as it reached out. Before Iluna and the others could react, the golem's massive right hand snapped shut, grabbing the light in its grasp.

Bang bang!

Bang bang!

Bang bang!

But at that very moment, a heartbeat, seemingly capable of shaking the entire space, suddenly resounded. It was as if the world itself was emitting a heartbeat, and everyone who heard the sound felt an extreme sense of oppression. But when people looked towards the source of the sound, they discovered that the heartbeat was emanating from the giant golem's hand.

Even with its hands tightly closed, a dazzling crimson light still seeped out from between them, flashing in sync with the heartbeat.

The intense heat of the flames turned the golem's metal right hand crimson within seconds. It tried to grasp the increasingly intense flames in its palm, but the metal trembled violently, and the red light between its fingers grew stronger and stronger until, amidst a tooth-grinding metallic creak, the golem's right hand was actually ripped apart by the flames.

But instead of focusing on the decaying metal as it fell, people looked at the burst of crimson light.

At first glance, the light resembled a blood-red sun, but then it clearly resembled a crimson blood moon. As the bursts of light gradually subsided, people saw that the true form of the red light was a gigantic, vertically shaped flame pupil suspended in the air.

"Hmm? The AllSpark? Yet another one?"

The emerald green light and shadow were blocked behind her by the crimson vertical pupils, or rather, gradually merged into them. Her consciousness, inexplicably detached from her body and then constantly drawn to the "source of fire," nearly plunging into it, finally regained a brief moment of clarity after sensing that familiar, warm soul.

She was still in a daze, but she could feel Shad's soul embracing her, just like in that dream. Even more so, his soul was hotter than before. She completely relinquished control of her consciousness, gave up all resistance, and in her unconsciousness, allowed herself to merge into that new "source of fire."

After a moment of shock, the "Construct Master" swung the golem's left fist toward the fiery vertical pupil in the air. But before the metal fist, carrying immense power and crimson flames, could reach its target, a hand blocked it.

With the new "Spark Source" at its core, the flames that erupted once again outlined the shape of a colossal creature in the void.

The "Spark" was embedded in the center of his chest. At first, it only formed the right arm holding the golem's fist and a few simple lines that outlined the giant's silhouette. Then, the flames continued to fill in until they formed flesh and blood that seemed to materialize.

That was not a flesh and blood body in the conventional sense, but a body formed from flowing, life-giving crimson flames. Every muscle texture shone with the luster of molten lava, yet it displayed an astonishing tightness and fluidity in the changing light and shadow.

Everyone present could sense that the giant that appeared with the new "Spark" at its core was not using the energy of the "Spark" itself to manifest its body. It was clearly using its consciousness and soul as the core to control the "Spark", and then manifesting its body through the means of flesh and blood creation, so that it could finally appear here in a way that was almost like a projection.

"Who is this? Whose consciousness is so powerful!"

Danesthete and Iluna clearly sensed the most familiar soul fluctuations; the former even felt an unusual familiarity with this perfect body.

"Shad?"

The fire giant's right fist gripped the golem's left fist, and the raging flames on their bodies even caused a stinging pain to the thirteenth-ring warlocks. This wasn't due to the actual temperature of the flames, but rather the terrifying impact on the surrounding environment caused by the powerful consciousness and soul of that unknown figure interfering with reality and colliding with the golem's life flames.

Click!

The fire giant snapped off the golem's left arm, but the golem was actually a colossal object pieced together by a "construct master" using tiny gears, so its right fist, which had been ripped apart, had fully regenerated. As the fire giant's right hand attempted to pierce the golem's core from its chest, the golem's right arm similarly blocked its way.

The two fists collided in mid-air. The physical impact of the clash, the collision of the "Spark Source" with pure consciousness and soul power, and the loud bang made even those other than Thirteen Rings and Iluna momentarily lose their senses.

The giants didn't engage in any fancy fighting. After the attack, both sides retreated simultaneously, but the "fire giant" clearly had the upper hand.

One side is a machine imbued with life by the spark of life; the other is a shell constructed in imitation of a living organism, with the spark as its core. Despite their nearly identical cores, they exhibit drastically different philosophies in their paths of creation, yet both astonishingly achieve brilliant success.

Many onlookers stared wide-eyed, trying to understand the strategic thinking behind both sides.

The reason Xia De had the upper hand at this moment was not because Xia De's "Spark Source" was stronger than his opponent's, but because the body he manifested with his consciousness and soul was stronger than the metal body that was still being strengthened by the Spark Source.

After both sides backed down, the "Construct Master" knew he absolutely could not afford to linger in a fight with this enemy who also possessed the "Spark." He decided to defeat his opponent using the most direct means:

"Your spark is not as strong as mine!"

As the remaining thirteen rings flew around Shad to help fight the enemy, the metal golem's hands simultaneously touched the "Spark" on its chest, and then a dazzling flame truly erupted from its chest.

Without any charging process, the immense life force inherent in the Spark Source was squeezed out through the unknown method of this thirteenth ring expert, and then bombarded the enemies in front of him with the purest crimson life energy.

It's worth noting that although both appear to be giants with "eyes" embedded in their chests, Shad doesn't currently possess the ability to compress and unleash the energy from his AllSpark. This time, the energy is far too powerful; he feels his AllSpark can't even absorb the attack's energy as it did last time.
