Chapter 475: Signal from the Clarisium System

Chapter 475: Signal from the Clarisium System

"What's going on, Commander Bligh?"

Aayla Secura walked to the Temple's operations room with her 327th commander, Bligh. She was not alone, as Commander Wolff followed closely behind, his armor shining with a striking yellow sheen. Captain America, Black Widow, and Falcon also came with them.

Captain America frowned and asked, "What happened here?" There was an indescribable tension in the atmosphere.

"In a way, we are facing a double crisis," Bligh replied, with a hint of sarcasm. "A double challenge, so to speak."

"Double?" Falcon repeated doubtfully. "What on earth does that mean?"

"We seem to be facing two dangers at the same time," he explained. "It's like two forces are approaching us."

Wolfe muttered under his breath, "Judging from our luck, we may be heading into danger."

They continued to move forward in silence, without saying a word, but the sense of uneasiness between them grew stronger.

When they arrived at the war room, they found that the Avengers, Jedi Knights, and clone soldiers had gathered inside. The room was crowded and the atmosphere was depressing.

"Oh my god," Falcon whispered, "this doesn't feel good."

Obi-Wan announced loudly, "We are all here, so let's begin."

Black Widow immediately asked: "Obi-Wan, what's going on? Why did you call us all here?"

Kenobi responded with a solemn expression, "There are some important matters that need to be discussed." He went on to say that the Jedi Master first mentioned two unusual transmissions that the Temple had received at approximately the same time the day before.

One of these transmissions occurred deep in the galaxy's edge, in the Clarisium system, and would normally be dismissed as an insignificant glitch or useless static, but upon further analysis, it was discovered that the transmission contained a Jedi SOS code that had not been used in two thousand years.

Ahsoka said in surprise, "A message that's two thousand years old? The holographic dragon is one thing, but this transmission code..." She looked at Bly in confusion, "What on earth is going on here, Commander Bly?"

"News from faraway places." Pro folded his hands and said firmly, "Clarisium is more likely to wander in the wild space, rather than just confined to the edge."

"At least it borders the Outer Rim," Skywalker commented, eyeing the galaxy map display. "I'm uneasy about that."

"I feel the same way," Obi-Wan began. "Why do we need an additional backup plan?"

Spider-Man asked loudly, sitting on the staircase seat in the room: "What exactly is the other transmission method you are talking about?"

Mace Windu's expression looked particularly serious, revealing a more serious atmosphere.

"We have speculated that we may have found one of Ultron's foundries." He spoke with confidence.

The whole room was filled with discussions, and the members of the Avengers were all nervous at this moment, and many people's expressions became more determined.

War Machine asks the team, "How is this possible?"

Daredevil said, "Ultron is not so easy to spot."

This statement was echoed by many people.

Kit Fisto revealed: "ARC trooper Fordor and his new batch of ARCs discovered a distress beacon sent to us by Jedi Master Evan Pier during their last mission during graduation."

Captain America asked grimly, "How do you know this is true?"

Pointing to the Avengers beside him, Kenobi explained, "Tap and Karen, with the help of Vision, helped us decipher the coded message that Ford and his ARC obtained from Evan Peel."

The room began to whisper until Anakin spoke up. "Both transmissions we are dealing with are critical. We must figure out how to handle them properly."

Wanda questioned, "But isn't one of them just an old transmission? What makes it as important as fighting Ultron?"

One suggested: "This could be a separatist ploy to lure some of us in."

Captain America said: "Old tactics can sometimes play a huge role and can confuse current enemies. Perhaps someone in the Knights will use this special transmission code to hide their whereabouts and avoid being discovered by Ultron and the Jedi Knights."

“Or maybe it’s the echoes of history reappearing in our time.”

Barris questioned this, emphasizing that "recently, a lot of ancient knowledge that was once lost has reappeared in the Knights."

"My dear Padawan, you have a very insightful point." Luminara smiled at her student and responded. She added: "Those elusive old Jedi codes should not be easily ignored by us."

"Well, that being said, we are now faced with the more pressing problem of Ultron. We should not dwell too much on the rules of the past." War Machine's tone was very urgent. He continued: "We can't send out multiple fleets just because of an ancient distress signal."

Ahsoka, however, insisted: "Those things cannot be abandoned so easily. She stands on the side of her fellow Padawans."

"Then we'll have to deal with both problems at the same time." Ayla Secura proposed a solution. "We'll split into two teams, one to check the distress beacon, and the other to hunt down Ultron."

"I expect us to move quickly," Kenobi said eagerly, "If the transmission fails, the first team will link up with the other, and then we will attack Ultron's base with all our strength."

Most people agreed with the plan, and Plough looked around at the assembled group. He asked a key question: "The key is, who should we send to go after which one?"
