Chapter 469 Darth Maul

Chapter 469 Darth Maul

The punishment that Sora had foreseen was confirmed, and Savage suffered the severe punishment he deserved.

At the critical moment when Savage Opress was suppressed by the Force, Dooku released a powerful Force lightning with the force of thunder, and its power was like a thunderbolt from the sky.

The powerful Force lightning left an indelible mark on Savage's chest, like a deep scar that not only penetrated his armor but also burned the clothes underneath.

This scene undoubtedly sounded a warning to those followers of Dooku, letting them know the consequences of going against his will. This was clear to all the acolytes.

Dooku brought Savage from Serenno back to Dathomir as if he were dealing with a piece of inferior merchandise. When he arrived at Dathomir, he rushed into the village and dragged Savage with him using the Force. Soon, he met Mother Talzin and vented his anger there.

"His savagery, recklessness, and brutality are beyond measure." Dooku left angrily, pacing back and forth in front of the calm and composed Talzin. "His power is unrestrained, barbaric, and uncivilized."

Matron Talzin listened quietly, patiently waiting for the Count's long speech to end. At the same time, she lowered her eyes and looked at Savage who was kneeling on the ground. He breathed painfully and tried to keep himself kneeling, but Dooku ruthlessly pushed him down with the Force.

"Perhaps we have moved too hastily," Mother Talzin acquiesced to Dooku's complaint. "In our haste to seek power, we have not considered the type of apprentice you need. Asajj may be more suitable, and her temperament and abilities are more compatible with yours."

"Where is Ventress now?" he inquired.

"She left some time ago," Mother Talzin replied. "To the Outer Rim, as she told you."

"To find her relatives, I remember she said." Count Dooku muttered to himself, frowning. He knew that some actions might cause her to meet with an unexpected accident, which reshuffled his hopes and plans.

Fortunately, things eventually worked out, and Dooku was not only amazed but delighted that Asajj had finally awakened her dormant powers, powers that they had both longed to unleash.

However, this awakening of power was not without a price, as Asajj's connection to the Force was severely weakened. But Dooku believed it was worth it. Asajj would regain this connection and increase her power to an unprecedented level.

In the following communication, Dooku learned two important pieces of information.

First, Mother Talzin revealed that Asajj had a brother or sister with the same powers as her. This presented their team with a great opportunity - if they could successfully recruit this equally powerful person to join their ranks, they could not only defeat Sidious, but potentially even Ultron and other enemies of the Republic.

However, another piece of information is disturbing.

"Have you found any clues about Geszerian?" Talzin asked.

"The other clans have attacked her last territory on Dathomir, which we found deserted. From what we know, she has left Dathomir, but it is unknown where she has gone."

This did not alleviate Dooku's worries, because the power of Gthzerain, the ancestor of the Nightsisters, was comparable to Dooku in the dark side, and even more disturbing, her existence meant new enemies and unknown challenges for Dooku.

"If you want not only the support of my clan, but also the further support of other tribes on Dathomir, you must assist us in completely destroying Gethzerian." Talzin's words made Dooku realize that he was facing not only the challenge of Gethzerian, but also more enemies and unknown variables.

Adding another piece to the complex chess game would undoubtedly make the situation more confusing. Not only did he have to deal with two open hostilities, but he also had to face a more hidden enemy - Sidious, and his master seemed to have a lot to do with it.

Dooku wondered if he should turn his attention to Sidious and see what his master had to say about this.

Talzin told him seriously: "She is not only a threat to us, Dooku, you are also very clear about this. I know that you are facing many challenges, and she is also an existence that cannot be ignored."

Well, he couldn't deny that fact. Deep down, he just wanted to avoid this dispute. However, the interests involved were already complicated.

"This may be more difficult than expected." Count Dooku said after a brief silence, "What about Savage? I have no intention of condoning his brutality if there is chaos hidden behind it."

The Nightsisters' leader nodded in understanding.

"Dooku, although this is not what you want, we have kept our promise." Talzin said, "Give him to us, and we will help him transform into a force that cannot be underestimated. When you get rid of Darth Sidious, he will be your strong backing."

Dooku responded with a firm look in his eyes: "This is the best option. We need to gather all available forces to fight against the growing hostile forces. I am willing to entrust Savage to you."

Then, the Dark Lord turned quietly, without even glancing back at his frustrated disciple.

Talzin stood alone, walking towards the defeated Zabrak Nightbrother Opress.

"Failure is not terrible," Talzin comforted softly, "Everything will get better in the end."

Opress groaned in pain.

"You seem confused by Dooku's departure," Talzin said gently, "but I have a way to find a mentor for you. He will teach you the secrets of becoming stronger."

Opress' eyes were full of doubt but hope: "Then where is he?"

"He lives in self-imposed exile at the outer edge of the universe. You will find him."

Opress looked troubled: "But the outer edge is so vast, how can I find it?"

Talzin flipped his wrist, and green mist condensed in his palm, then turned into an amulet.

"This rune contains my magical power," Talzin continued, "and it will serve as your guiding light. Wear this amulet around your neck, and remember that you have an important mission, Opress, and you are not alone."

"But how can I confirm..." Opress asked.

"You will know where he is and who he is," Talzin answered with certainty.

"I understand, Madam," Opress replied.

After watching Savage leave and set foot on the road to the transportation, Talzin turned to the crystal ball in her cabin and concentrated her mind. She knew that although the road ahead was full of unknowns, as long as she persevered, everything would eventually become clear. She waved her hand lightly, and a whirlwind of energy surged out of her hand, forming a mysterious energy vortex. Then, a clear image gradually took shape in the vortex, as if telling some deep secret.

"My child, soon we will meet again, and the hatred we once had will be settled..." Her voice was full of anticipation and determination, as if everything was under her control.

In the image, the scene in the dark room gradually becomes clear.

Sitting alone in the room was a male creature, sitting cross-legged with his hands folded in his lap.

He closed his eyes and breathed slowly and rhythmically, his chest rising and falling with each breath.

Before him, a lightsaber loomed. The sword had been disassembled into many parts, but now it was reassembled in an orderly manner. It slowly rotated, and both ends ignited, bursting into red plasma blades. After a moment, the blades slowly retreated, and the weapon circled around its owner.

A lightsaber circled the only occupant of the room several times before slowly floating back to the ground until the door behind the man slowly opened.

An old man walked into the room, wearing a dark black robe, his silver hair and beard showing his nobility. His arms were hidden in his wide sleeves.

"Lord Moore."

Sickly yellow eyes were revealed the moment they opened, surrounded by a blood-red halo. He turned his head and cast his gaze towards the old man who had just entered his personal space.

"Jorus." Darth Maul's voice was low and rough. "I sensed the news you brought, and it disturbed my meditation."

"Please forgive my intrusion, master. But I have something important to report." Jorus replied respectfully.

"What's the news?" Moore asked.

"We have arrived at our destination," Jorus replied.

Darth Maul's brow furrowed, then turned into a sinister smile. "We're finally here. Are we ready?"

"Of course, we triple-checked many times along the way to make sure everything was foolproof," Jorus replied.

"Very good. Inform others to follow my plan and be prepared." Moore ordered.

"Yes, sir." Jorus immediately responded and left.

Maul once again faced the dark universe alone and said to himself: "Welcome home. I am back."
