Listening to Zhao Rong, the assistant looked at him with newfound confidence and resolute eyes. It laughed wildly, "Humans, since you’ve entered my waters, you’ve walked right into my trap. Allow me to teach you a lesson."
When Zhao Rong and the assistant saw the monstrous fish before them, they were both stunned and looked at each other in shock. "Damn it, this thing sure has perfect timing. It blocked our path knowing we’re completely unarmed. Looks like we’re in for a fierce battle between man and fish."
The monstrous fish flicked its tongue, its expression menacing. "Back on land, I took a woman’s form to tempt you, but it failed. I was afraid you’d kill me, so I jumped into the water. As a monstrous fish, my fighting ability on land is zero. But now that I’m in the water, my power has skyrocketed! So it doesn’t matter who you are or how badass your fighting skills are on land. Once you enter this lake, you’re my dinner."
With that, the monstrous fish opened its maw filled with saw-like teeth and lunged at Zhao Rong and his assistant.
