Chapter 7 Cave Exploration

Qi Lie's eyes flickered. After staring at Little Fairy Doctor for a moment, he suppressed the thought of destroying her if he couldn't have her. The Calamity Poison Body was worth his effort.

"Since you're unwilling, I won't force you."

Qi Lie raised his hand and waved, and a jade bottle landed in front of Little Fairy Doctor.

"Your constitution is special. You would be fine doing other jobs, but as a doctor, you are destined to have an extraordinary life. Think it over carefully. I will come again."

"If you change your mind beforehand, you can take this pill."

Qi Lie stood up, his figure flashed, and he disappeared silently, leaving Little Fairy Doctor alone in the room. She was still nervously clutching the poison. Her gaze returned from where Qi Lie had disappeared to the jade bottle on the table. Her pretty face showed changing expressions, and her thoughts were somewhat disordered.

On the streets of Qingshan Town, Qi Lie walked slowly, his face calm and expressionless.

Regardless of Little Fairy Doctor's considerations, the Calamity Poison Body must be activated, whether actively or passively.

Qi Lie's smile vanished instantly, and he said irritably, "Nonsense, everyone can smile, that's just being expressionless!"

However, upon closer reflection, Qi Lie realized that he rarely smiled.

However, there wasn't really anything to be happy about.

Qi Lie shook his head gently, no longer dwelling on it, and turned to walk out of the hotel. Zi Yan quickly followed behind him with her short legs.

Qi Lie's fiery red battle aura wings fluttered gently as he flew slowly over the precipitous cliffs. His gaze swept across the cliff face, as if searching for something.

More than two hours later, Qi Lie stopped in front of a cliff.

Ahead was a dark cave entrance hanging on a cliff. Outside the cave entrance was a not-so-spacious platform. Qi Lie flashed and landed on the platform, folded his wings, and walked into the cave.

The cave was quiet and dark, almost without light, with a faint chill in the air. Qi Lie walked forward unhurriedly, seemingly unaffected by the environment.

When a stone door emitting a faint yellow light blocked Qi Lie's path, a smile appeared on Qi Lie's calm face. He squatted down and pressed a small protrusion under the stone door, and the stone door slowly rose with a creak.

As the stone door moved upwards, a faint light emanated from within, dispelling all the darkness in the vicinity.

Qi Lie stood up, scanned the inside of the stone door with his soul power, and then stepped inside.

Inside the stone gate was a huge stone chamber. Qi Lie looked around and nodded in satisfaction.

A skeleton, three stone boxes, a large amount of gold coins, and rare medicinal herbs all appeared. This was the cave that contained the fragments of the Pure Lotus Demon Flame map.

Qi Lie walked up to the skeleton, bowed slightly to show his respect, then flipped his hand and slammed out a palm strike, instantly shattering the skeleton into dust.

With a gentle wave of his hand, the skull powder drifted out of the cave, leaving only three black keys and a small scroll in place.

Qi Lie raised his hand, and the key and reel flew into his hand automatically.

He opened the scroll, and what appeared before his eyes was a piece of parchment made of some unknown material, with some seemingly irregular patterns drawn on the slightly yellowed parchment.

Qi Lie glanced at it casually, then put the scroll away and placed it in the most precious spot in his storage ring.

Walking to the bluestone platform, he used the key to open the three stone boxes in turn, and obtained the flying combat skill Purple Cloud Wings, the Xuan-level combat skill Mad Lion's Roar, and the Seven-Colored Poison Scripture.

Qi Lie turned and walked to the corner, putting the hundreds of thousands of gold coins into his storage ring, and then turned to the patch of rare medicinal herbs.

After carefully examining the medicinal herbs, Qi Lie nodded in satisfaction. These herbs were more important to him than gold coins and fighting skills, because he needed to use a large number of them in his future plans.

Ten minutes later, Qi Lie turned and left the stone chamber. As the stone door slowly closed, the chamber was sealed again, awaiting the arrival of the next destined person.

On the edge of the Monster Mountain Range, Qi Lie found Zi Yan, whom he had arranged to search for a cave, in a forest.

A little girl dressed in white grabbed the tail of a tiger-like monster several meters long and swung it back and forth like a rope until the unfortunate monster passed out.

Qi Lie looked at the scene before him, pursed his lips, and felt that this seemed to be Zi Yan's true face, completely different from her obedient and cute appearance in front of him.

"Alright, stop playing around."

Zi Yan turned around and saw Qi Lie in the air. The smug look on her face vanished instantly. She stuck out her tongue and said sheepishly, "I was interrogating him, but I couldn't get anything out of him."

Qi Lie flashed to Zi Yan's side, raised his hand to pat her head, and said softly, "It's okay, I found it."

Zi Yan instantly breathed a sigh of relief, a fawning smile spreading across her innocent face. "Brother Qi is so amazing!" she said.

"His flattery skills need improvement."

The flattery was too blatant, and Qi Lie wasn't impressed. He glanced at the unconscious magical beast in the distance and said, "Let's go. Our next destination is on the east side of the Gama Empire. We need to cross the Magical Beast Mountain Range. We can search for some rare and precious materials along the way."

Qi Lie opened his arms slightly, and Zi Yan jumped up with her little feet, wrapped her arms around Qi Lie's neck, and hung on Qi Lie's body.

With one arm around Zi Yan, Qi Lie unleashed his battle aura wings on his back with a whoosh. With a gentle flap of his fiery red wings, he and Zi Yan soared into the sky and flew towards the depths of the Monster Mountain Range.
