Chapter 371: Show Some Decency, Like, Please Get Lost
"It’s me!"
According to what she saw in TV dramas, Thea Shaw began to follow the usual process.
Her tone was filled with pain and disbelief: "You actually had an affair with another woman behind my back!"
Landon Ford, knowing Thea’s temper, offered an explanation: "I was just sitting here, accidentally left my phone, it was only three minutes."
He slowly raised his head, his fierce eyes staring at the anxious and uneasy woman in front of him: "I really didn’t expect someone to be so obtuse."
The woman’s face instantly turned deathly pale.
She thought she was different.
She had a good relationship with Landon Ford because she was the granddaughter of an old acquaintance of Landon’s grandfather. Both families used to be prominent, but she had been abroad since childhood and rarely met Landon.
Although Landon wasn’t cold to her, he was at least polite.
Every time she met Landon, she was different from others, always able to exchange a few words with him.
Her nature was proud and spoiled, always considering herself Landon’s little sister, and because of this relationship, she always thought she was different.
Now, she was suddenly brought back to reality.
Earlier, everyone said Landon had a girlfriend, but she didn’t believe it.
Upon hearing this, her eyes instantly filled with tears, extremely aggrieved: "I only answered one of your calls."
Landon had no intention of speaking with her, simply glanced coldly, turned around, and walked away with Thea’s call, going further and further.
Thea heard this and couldn’t help but click her tongue: "What’s with this white lotus tone?"
Answering someone else’s call and feeling wronged?
Landon chuckled: "Why did you call me?"
Thea replied: "Bored, just bothering you a bit."
"You’re quite honest." He slightly curled his lips: "So you never think of me when you’re not bored?"
Over the phone, Thea’s courage was much greater than usual: "If you want to think that way, there’s nothing I can do."
Landon: "..."
As he walked forward, the woman, seemingly unwilling, chased after him to explain: "I didn’t mean to answer your call, I’m sorry!"
Her tone suggested that apologizing was already a huge concession.
Hearing her voice, Landon turned his head, the smile in his eyes completely disappeared, and he spoke coldly: "Get lost."
Her face turned even paler.
Thea, listening, couldn’t help but sigh for Landon’s stone-cold heart: "We should at least be polite, add a word so your tone is softer, like, please get lost."
"..."
Landon’s lips slightly curled as he left even faster.
The woman still wanted to chase after him, but Phillip Lane, his personal secretary with a gentle smile, blocked her way and said something quite cruel: "Miss Anson, you’ve already upset Young Master Ford, please don’t go too far."
Miss Anson looked as if she had seen a ghost, her voice shrill: "But I am his sister!"
Phillip Lane’s expression didn’t change at all: "Young Master Ford doesn’t have any sister."
Miss Anson’s face turned not only pale but she couldn’t utter a single word.
Phillip Lane, being Landon’s personal secretary, his words represented Landon’s intentions.
Landon truly had no sister; her claim to be one was unfounded.
Only because of some childhood connection, she always thought she was special, not realizing that if she truly were special, Landon couldn’t have just met her a few times over more than twenty years.
