Chapter 399 - 90: Is This Even Human!?
With the passive headshot damage bonus from the Beheading Sword, the stacking damage increase and extra Critical Strike damage from the Moonfire Bow, as well as various other damage and physical attack bonuses... Qin Feng’s current archery damage output had reached a truly terrifying level.
It didn’t even matter that all the Lord Players from the Sakura Country had received a Divine Level buff granting them 50% damage reduction.
Even if they had all received a Divine-level Talent effect for 99% damage reduction like the Evil Dragon Jinli...
As long as it wasn’t a Divine Gift type of Damage Reduction Ability, it would be completely ignored by Qin Feng’s Divine Gift: Permanent Poisoning, which would rapidly drain their health by a percentage.
Therefore, the remaining Sakura Country players and Divine Chosen Soldiers were no obstacle for Qin Feng. With just a bow, he could single-handedly annihilate them all with ease.
However, his one hundred Emperor’s Guard could not be too far away from him.
Even if the battle situation sometimes required them to separate temporarily, the Emperor’s Guard would automatically use Teleportation to appear by his side within five minutes to regroup.
More importantly, during combat, the Emperor’s Guard could kill enemies to help him stack his Bloodthirsty passive effect, making him even more powerful.
Taking all these factors into account, Qin Feng decided to simply summon the Emperor’s Guard to assist him, allowing him to annihilate the Sakura Country players that much faster.
"For His Majesty the Emperor!"
"Kill!"
With a unified roar from the Sielo Knights, the twilight of the Northern Forest was dyed scarlet with blood. The branches of the towering ancient trees bore the scars of the Arrow Rain. A mixture of rotting leaves, soil, and the stench of blood filled the air, and every gust of wind carried the breath of death.
The Sielo Knights’ Profound Black Lion Armor glinted in the mottled light. Clutching their Beheading Swords, their figures moved like phantoms, charging into the chaotic enemy ranks. The CLANG of their armor and the thud of their footsteps made the very ground tremble.
As they faced the desperate struggles of the Sakura Country players who had become Extraordinary Mages, the very wind in the forest seemed to churn violently with Magic Energy.
A Mage player hid behind a tree trunk, a ghastly blue ice cone forming at his fingertips. Just as he was about to launch it at a Sielo Knight, the knight closed in on him with teleport-like speed.
With a sharp whistle, the Beheading Sword swept out, instantly shattering the ice cone. The Mage’s Magic Shield broke like paper, and the blade sliced through his Magic Staff before continuing its arc to cleave into his chest.
Blood gushed out, splattering onto the tree trunk behind him and leaving a gruesome stain. The Mage player collapsed onto the ground, which was covered in rotting leaves, without even having time to scream.
Meanwhile, the Extraordinary Level archer soldiers quickly retreated into the thickets, using the dense branches to create distance. They then began frantically nocking arrows, unleashing a furious barrage.
Instantly, arrows rained down upon the Sielo Knights, but they evaded the volley with their masterful Divine Gift: Extreme Evasion. The arrows that missed their mark clattered crisply on the ground.
The Sielo Knights advanced through the Arrow Rain, the rotting leaves crunching under their feet. Their Beheading Swords struck with precision at the throats of the Extraordinary Archers, each blow clean and decisive.
In the blink of an eye, the archer soldiers who had been hiding in the thickets fell in droves, their bows and arrows scattered across the ground. Blood dripped from the leaves, staining the surrounding earth red.
Swordsman-type players charged forward, brandishing their Longswords to intercept them. Sparks flew as metal clashed, lighting up the forest.
They tried to use their agile footwork to outmaneuver the knights, but they were suppressed by the Sielo Knights’ faster, more vicious onslaught.
The Beheading Sword’s weight and sharpness were perfectly balanced. One swing sent a Swordsman’s weapon flying, and in the next moment, the blade came down, cleaving the player who blocked the path in two.
A nearby Divine Chosen Soldier saw this and raised his shield to advance, but a Knight sent it flying with a kick. The shield slammed into a tree trunk and cracked. The Knight’s Beheading Sword then plunged through the soldier’s chest, pinning him to the ground as blood slowly trickled down the blade and seeped into the earth.
The entire forest had become the Sielo Knights’ slaughterhouse. Shrill screams echoed through the woods, only to be quickly drowned out by the knights’ roars and the clang of their weapons.
Whether they were agile players with Professions or well-equipped Divine Chosen Soldiers, they were all like fragile dolls before the Sielo Knights and their Beheading Swords. Powerless to fight back, they could only be slaughtered one by one in despair, adding another layer of blood to the ancient forest.
Even more terrifyingly, perched on a massive tree branch in the distance, stood Qin Feng. He leaned against the trunk, the corners of his clothes fluttering in the forest air.
The Longbow in his hands was drawn taut like a full moon, the cold light gathering on his arrow exceptionally piercing in the twilight. Thanks to the absurd passive of Multi-shot Arrow, every time he loosed a shot, tens of thousands of arrows shot toward the battlefield like a goddess scattering blossoms, precisely piercing the dense enemy ranks. With each Arrow Rain that fell, at least ten thousand enemies collapsed, their blood pooling into rivers on the ground.
And this was with the forest terrain holding him back.
The dense tree trunks and tangled branches provided significant cover, blocking many of his arrows and preventing them from dealing their full potential damage.
If this were an open plain, a single volley from his Multi-shot Arrow would sweep across the entire battlefield unimpeded. Annihilating forty or fifty thousand enemies would be an effortless task.
