Having witnessed the Punisher's jungle of prey exhibits, Vega then saw an even more horrific and devastating battlefield ruin. His scalp tingled, and all he wanted to do was run away.
The Punisher of this world is terrifying. He knows many of the dead, and he is no match for many of them. How did he kill so many powerful beings without any supernatural abilities?
After carefully observing the battlefield, Vega breathed a sigh of relief; these people must have fought each other and died here.
"It has nothing to do with me." The Punisher's subsequent reply confirmed this.
The group continued walking forward, and soon Vega discovered a strange corpse.
It was a female skeleton torn into pieces, its entire body crystal clear like ruby but covered with teeth marks.
Beside it stood a brown-haired man in a black uniform, wearing sci-fi sunglasses, perfectly intact, nibbling on a red jade foot missing two toes, looking satisfied, with his eyes closed as if asleep.
After examining the remains, Vega realized that the man was Cyclops Scott Summers, and the female skeletons, resembling rubies and filled with a mysterious power that seemed to be flames but was brimming with life force and destructive power, should belong to Jean Grey, Phoenix!
Vega asked the Punisher, "Is that Phoenix?"
The Punisher nodded: "Yes, don't go there. Although Phoenix is dead, her remaining power is still protecting Cyclops, who devoured her. Getting close there will result in an attack."
Vega shook his head: "You're wrong, Phoenix is still alive."
"What?!" The Punisher exclaimed in astonishment. Vega continued, "The power of the Phoenix is far beyond what ordinary people can imagine. She can be resurrected at any time if she wants to."
"Then why?" The Punisher had barely uttered the question when he looked at the teeth marks on Phoenix's skeleton and understood.
Phoenix couldn't bear the thought of her partner and friends turning into cannibalistic monsters; her heart died.
Vega thought for a moment, then walked over there. As he approached, the ruby-like skeletons trembled and gradually ignited with dangerous flames.
Vega stopped and said in a deep voice, "I know you can hear me. I mean no harm; I just want to talk to you."
After Vega finished speaking, he stood still and waited for a response. The Punisher didn't know what he wanted to do, but still chose to observe from a distance.
Time passed slowly in silence, no response came, but the skeletons quieted down, and the flames stopped burning.

"Of course it's true." Vega nodded solemnly. He wasn't lying. The Phoenix Force could indeed do what he said. Even if Phoenix's Phoenix Force was incomplete, if she could fully control this power, she could manipulate not only Earth but the entire universe at will.
