Chapter 595 The Death Eaters Who Were Scared Away
Bellatrix had not expected Garrick Ollivander to suddenly appear and immediately take down the two Death Eaters.
What they didn't expect was that Garrick's appearance attracted even more shop owners.
When they first saw the Death Eaters, their minds were in chaos due to the deep-seated fear of the Dark Mark. Now that they had calmed down a bit, they noticed Siron and Ollivander standing opposite the Death Eaters.
The mysterious man is long dead; he's just a few Death Eaters. What's there to be afraid of?
Thinking this, people opened the shop doors and came out one after another.
The first one to rush out was Florin Fusco from the ice cream shop. Besides supporting Siron and Garrick, he also wanted to avenge his half-blown door.
Then an employee from Flourish and Blotts came out, dragging a large iron cage inside which seven or eight screeching, thick-covered books were biting each other.
Further away, Mrs. Malkin was running towards them with a large pair of scissors in her hand.
As more and more people gathered, the situation instantly reversed.
Meanwhile, Siron wasn't idle either. After Garrick blocked Bella's killing curse, he took action.
[Horde Codex] In an instant, three powerful spells were unleashed in succession, heading straight for the remaining Death Eaters.
Bella and Malfoy reacted quickly, dodging the spell immediately, but the other Death Eater was not so lucky; he was struck by the spell and immediately passed out.
Bella and Malfoy exchanged a glance, both seeing a hint of retreat in each other's eyes.
Clearly, both of them knew they were no match for Siren and Garrick, and that continuing would be futile.
Even if they wait a while, and others join in, they might not even be able to escape.
"Walk!"
Neither of them hesitated, nor did they intend to save the other Death Eaters. They simultaneously transformed into a swirling cloud of black mist and quickly disappeared into the sky.
"Don't chase them—" Garrick shouted, "They might be lying in ambush!"
Xilen blinked.
In fact, he hadn't intended to chase after them. But he soon realized that Garrick was talking to someone else.
While driving away the Death Eaters was certainly a good thing, everyone was curious and didn't understand why Bellatrix had attacked Celeste.
Garrick didn't understand either.
"Shouldn't you be at Hogwarts right now?" he asked, walking up to Siron after dismissing the others.
"It's a long story," Sirius shook his head. "In short, I received news that Vulcan—the mysterious man kidnapped you and Sirius, and used cruel methods to try to extract something from you."
"7
"Who are you talking about, Sirius Black?" Garrick asked, puzzled.
He wasn't surprised at all when Sirius mentioned the mysterious man's name, because Dumbledore had told him the whole story last year after Sirius was captured by Voldemort.
Garrick was indeed terrified at the time, but after so much time has passed, he has gradually come to accept the terrible fact that Voldemort has returned.
But Sirius Black couldn't figure out what secret he and the savior bishop who had escaped from prison and had his case overturned could possibly share.
"This news is false." Garrick immediately shook his head and said, "You should know that the mysterious man couldn't have kidnapped me before the supplies in the shop ran out."
Siren twitched his lips, pretending not to understand what Garrick meant—in other words, if the shop ran out of materials, even if Voldemort was outside, he would still go looking for materials to make wands.
But now is not the time to discuss these things.
"You've been fooled," Garrick said.
“No, it should be said that this whole thing is a trap.” Celen looked at Garrick. “I need a Portkey to Hogwarts.”
"Okay," Garrick said. "When?"
"The sooner the better."
Garrick nodded, bent down to pick up a slightly deformed old bottle cap from the ground, and gently tapped it with his wand.
"Mentos!"
The bottle cap began to tremble violently, and soon a bright blue light appeared.
Creating a Portkey is a more advanced form of magic than Apparition. Although it is not as convenient as Apparition, it is not subject to most anti-magic spells and can be used even in Diagon Alley, where Apparition is prohibited.
After the light disappeared, Garrick handed the bottle cap to Xiren.
"Get ready—and be careful."
Xilun nodded and grasped the bottle cap.
A few seconds later, he felt himself being violently pulled away, the ground disappearing from his feet. His hands were stuck to the bottle cap, and he was propelled forward at high speed amidst swirling colored lines and whistling wind, and then—
His feet touched the ground, but in an instant, he seemed to be pushed backward a distance by some inexplicable force.
When Celen finally stepped onto the ground, he found himself standing in front of the gates of Hogwarts, where he could see the iconic statues of Hogwarts—two winged warthogs.
It seems that Hogwarts' prohibition of Apparition isn't just about a simple anti-curse.
Xilun didn't think about it anymore and quickly ran towards the castle.
Although it was getting dark, it wasn't dinner time yet, and with the exams just finished, the outdoor area was bustling with activity, with students playing and laughing everywhere.
When they saw Xilun, they didn't find it strange and greeted him warmly.
"Hey, Siren, where have you been?"
We've been looking for you for ages.
Fred and George stood on either side of the castle entrance, blocking the way, and asked.
"Voldemort is at the Ministry of Magic. Harry just went to see him," Siron said quickly, not keeping anyone in suspense.
The Weasley brothers, who had been laughing just moments before, immediately froze on the spot.
"That's a really funny joke," Fred said after a moment, laughing. "What was the Mysterious Man doing at the Ministry of Magic? Turning himself in?"
"It could also be for the sake of running for minister," George laughed as well.
But Siren didn't laugh.
The two looked at him—
"So this isn't a joke, is it?" Fred asked softly.
Xilun nodded.
"I need to see Headmaster Dumbledore immediately."
"He's not here." George opened the Marauder's Map as quickly as possible, his eyes immediately falling on the location of the Headmaster's Office.
Most of the time, Dumbledore's name would linger in the Headmaster's office, but now there wasn't a single name there.
"And what about Professor McGonagall?" Celen continued to ask.
"They left too." George didn't even look at the Marauder's Point map this time, and said directly, "Just a dozen minutes ago."
"How do you know so much?" Fred asked curiously.
"I saw it," George explained.
"How come I didn't see it?"
"You were chatting with Angelina at the time," George said. "I saw her run out of the office, clutching a piece of parchment, and hurriedly leave the castle."
