Chapter 55 Encountering a Ghost

"Tian Tian? Let's go, we've already created chaos on the men's side." Liu Runyu waved to Tian Tian and urged her on.

"No, we can't take that elevator. I planted a bomb inside. It's going to explode soon," Tian Tian said urgently.

"You two come with me, we'll go down the pipe to the first floor."

As she spoke, Tian Tian darted into the pipe, poked half her body out, and kept waving to the two of them.

"You go down first, Tiantian. I think I left a ring behind when I was running." Su Zixu hurriedly searched her pockets, looking panicked.

Su Zixu spoke rapidly, his feet barely touching the ground, and ran all the way to the first floor.

The two endured the scalding hot pipe walls and quickly climbed towards the basement level.

Su Zixu gritted his teeth, sweat dripping down his face, his heart pounding.

Quaid was no longer human at this point; his body was missing pieces here and there, making Su Zixu's scalp tingle.

Su Zixu gasped deeply and muttered under his breath, "Serves him right."

However, after Liu Runyu successfully jumped down, Su Zixu couldn't wait to jump down as well.

"what!"

Upon landing, Su Zixu cried out in pain.

It wasn't because his foot hurt, but because Quaid bit off three of his fingers, though the ghost didn't seem to be able to get out of the pipe.

Su Zixu looked up and met his gaze. He felt that it was good that he was still alive.

This pain no longer hinders his movements; he has already experienced far worse pain.

Then, the two ran into the depths of the corridor without looking back.

"Brother, do you know where the escape pod is?" Liu Runyu asked, his voice hoarse and choked with sobs.

"If I don't know, I'll just follow Lizzie's description and look for her." Su Zixu ran as fast as he could, constantly drawing up the route the two of them had taken in his mind.

After running for several minutes, Liu Runyu finally couldn't keep going. "I can't go on, bro. I need to rest for a bit. Let's walk a bit. I really can't run anymore."

Upon hearing this, Su Zixu became extremely anxious, but had no choice but to agree, "Alright, I'll give you one minute."

Suddenly, a voice came from behind them; it was Tian Tian's voice.

As she spoke, she pointed to the two ghosts and said in the tone of a prison guard speaking to prisoners, "You two stay here for now. The four of us will go out in pairs to scout ahead. We'll come back for you once we find them."

"No, what if you run away on your own!" The one who spoke was the ghost disguised as Su Zixu.
