Chapter 4 Buying School Supplies
Chapter 4 Buying School Supplies
"Knock knock knock" The smell of herbs in this room is really strong. If I weren't a Chinese person who is used to the smell of Chinese medicine, I probably would have turned around and left.
“Mr. Hall, your busy old professor seems to have told you that he is very busy and asked you not to disturb him.” Severus Snape frowned. His potions couldn’t be made without someone by him, and this unreasonable little troll was actually disturbing his potion-making. He really wanted to throw him out.

What the heck? I didn't do it on purpose! They're deducting my favorability points for no reason! That's too much!
“Professor Snape, you may call me by my name, Ayers. I apologize for bothering you while you are busy. I have not found any food or clothes to change into at your house, so I have no choice but to ask for your help.” The devilishly handsome man stared at Severus Snape with a smile. As a transmigrator, I also know the essence of sarcasm and can spout unpleasant phrases.
"Or perhaps Professor Snape could grant your humble guardian a small sum of money so I can go out and make my own purchases." Knowing the plot so well, I knew for a second that this sharp-tongued but kind-hearted professor would never let me go out alone.
Suddenly I felt a little sorry for Coach Si. What happened?
"Ayres, here's a change of clothes for you, and this is today's food. Your old professor just forgot to give it to you. You shouldn't blame your busy old professor, should you?" Severus Snape, who was so busy, really forgot about it. He usually filled his stomach with potions and had genuinely forgotten.
"Of course not, then I won't bother you any longer, Professor Snape. Please continue with your work." He took the things that Professor Snape handed him. He would make do with this for today. There was no rush; there were still two weeks until the start of the semester.
"By the way, Ayers, get ready early tomorrow. Your old professor needs to go to Diagon Alley tomorrow. Come with me and we can buy your school supplies while we're there." Severus Snape had planned to go out tomorrow to buy some potion ingredients he was missing, but then he remembered that this little troll didn't seem to have bought his school supplies for this year. He decided to take the troll with him tomorrow so he wouldn't have to make an extra trip.
"Yes, Professor Snape." After leaving Snape's potions workshop, he finally revealed his joy, having concealed it, and returned to his room with his clothes and food.
Diagon Alley! The place every Harry Potter fan dreams of. I'm so excited! Tomorrow I can finally get my own wand that I've been longing for.

I've already completed several of Jin's missions, but I haven't touched a single Night's. I should be able to start working on them tomorrow. In this world, you can't have a carefree romance without some strength, otherwise Voldemort's Avada Kedavra would be nothing.
The night passed just like that. The next day, after getting ready, I went to the lobby on the first floor, where Professor Si was already sitting in the only sofa chair, waiting for me.
“Mr. Ayleshall, you old professor don’t have much time left. We need to leave immediately.” Severus Snape was getting impatient; he still had several potions to deal with.
“Let’s go, Professor.” I was happy; I didn’t want to argue with Professor Stu today. I grabbed his arm, and Apparition brought us to a small alley in Diagon Alley in an instant.
The second Apparition was finally a little better. Although I felt a bit unwell, it was much better than the first time. I wasn't vomiting so badly anymore.
Severus Snape was also surprised, not expecting that I could adapt to Apparition on my second try, and he was quite astonished.
“These Galleons are for your enrollment wand and robes. Go ahead and do it yourself. I'll buy the books, potion-making materials, and tools for you while I'm at it. As for a pet, I don't think you need one. Your old professor doesn't want his house to be a mess.” Severus Snape’s eyes were full of threat. He didn’t want a pet in his house. No, he absolutely wouldn’t allow it.
"Professor Snape, your guardian feels he needs a lovely pet to accompany him as he grows up. Of course, I won't choose one you don't like. What do you think of a cat?" Taking the money bag handed to him by Professor Snape, he felt that he would still have quite a bit left after buying what he needed.
Besides, I've wanted a pet for a long time. Since my admission letter allows it, why can't I? Cats are so cute, I love them! Stanford doesn't like them? I don't care! I'm definitely not going to let myself get worked up!
“It’s best not to let it leave your bedroom. Your old professor doesn’t want his things to be a mess.” Severus Snape suddenly changed his mind for some reason. Looking into the little troll’s emerald green eyes, he suddenly agreed.

I did it on purpose. I used those eyes to my advantage. It turns out that favorability can decrease. Does that mean it can increase without completing tasks? This was one of my experiments, and it seems I made the right bet.
"Then, esteemed Professor Snape, could you grant me one more small request? Our kitchen is empty; could you perhaps provide some tools and ingredients? I assure you, you wouldn't want to see me cooking in a cauldron, would you?" A gentle smile appeared on Professor Snape's face. Although I'm no longer a girl, I was certain he would fall for this. His hair and eyes were similar to those of a white moonlight.
(Why do I suddenly feel so despicable?)

“Okay.” Severus Snape was truly mesmerized by those green eyes; he hadn’t seen eyes like those in years.
By the time Severus Snape came to his senses, I had already left and headed towards Madam Malkin's Robes Shop.
Now that I'm in Diagon Alley, I'm not in a hurry for a wand at all. I just walked right into the Madam Malkin's Robes shop that was nearby and decided to buy a school uniform first.
As soon as the shop door opened, a lady dressed in fine clothes was greeted.
"My dear, are you looking to buy a Hogwarts robe?" Madam Malkin asked before I could even speak. "Please wait a moment, there are other people trying on clothes."
After speaking, Mrs. Malkin pointed to the side, where a man stood.
A young boy with light brown hair and black eyes. He skillfully changed his clothes, paid the bill, and went out.

What a pleasant surprise! I never expected to meet Cedric Diggory here, especially since he's so small.
However, he left too quickly; he disappeared before we could even make contact.
Based on this, I probably wasn't in the same year as Harry and the others.
"Beautiful lady, may I ask if the man who just left was your senior?" he asked Mrs. Morkin with a smile, stopping to let her take his measurements.
"Yes, darling, he seems to be in second grade." Everyone loves a sweet-talking little darling, especially Mrs. Malkin, who can get the information she needs with just a little prompting.
Cedric Diggory is only a sophomore? Then I'll be in the same year as the Geminis this year.
Heh~ This is getting interesting.
"My dear, besides the Hogwarts robes, is there anything else you need?" Madam Malkin asked routinely.
"Beautiful lady, I do need some everyday clothes. May I take a look at your shop?" The school uniform has been customized. Magic is really convenient sometimes. You can get the finished product as soon as you take the measurements. It's really fast.
But besides the school uniform, I seem to need some everyday clothes. It's impossible for Teacher Si to buy them for me every time, I'm afraid Teacher Si will want to give me a "Divine Strike Without Shadow".
"Well then, darling, you can look around the shop by yourself. Just come to me to pay for whatever you like. I have other little cuties who need me, so please excuse me." Other people came in to buy clothes, so Mrs. Malkin had no choice but to let me look at the clothes by myself.
"Yes, madam, please." He very politely invited Madam Morkin to leave.
After selecting a few more sets of everyday clothes and pajamas in the shop, I paid and left the shop, heading towards Ollivander's Wand Shop.
When I passed by the Ee-la Owl Shop, I saw a completely black cat with golden and blue eyes. I was immediately captivated when I saw it.
It was so quiet. He just stared at people silently, which gave off a sense of pressure. But the feeling he gave me was very familiar and comfortable. I don't know why, but I just liked him like that.
So I bought him without any hesitation. When I took him away, he didn't go into the cage at all. He just jumped around my neck, gently touched me with his cheek, and then lay quietly.
Seeing how obedient he was, I took him to Ollivanders wand shop.
"Good morning, little wizard." A soft voice suddenly rang out from beside a row of shelves.
An old man stood behind a counter not far from them. He had a pair of large, light-colored eyes that stood out like two bright moons in his dimly lit shop.
"Good morning, sir," he greeted Mr. Ollivander.
"Hmm~ Little wizard, what's your name? Which arm do you use to wield your wand?" Mr. Ollivander tilted his head in a friendly manner and asked the little wizard in front of him.
“Ayleshall, sir, you may call me Ayles. I am right-handed,” he replied.
“Okay, Ayers, put your arm up.” He pulled a long measuring tape with silver markings from his pocket.
The ruler first measured from their shoulders to their fingertips, then from their wrists to their elbows, from their shoulders to the floor, from their knees to their armpits, and finally measured their head circumference.
By the time the ruler had finally measured the dimensions, Mr. Ollivander had already disappeared behind several rows of shelves.
He sounded like he was pulling out some of the wand boxes, and the large stack of long, thin boxes he emerged with when he turned around confirmed this.
"Okay." He said, spreading the boxes out on the counter, the measuring tape slipping to the floor and rolling up into a ball.
“Then, sir, why don’t you try this 12-inch wand made of phoenix feathers and pine?” Mr. Ollivander hesitated for a moment before placing a slightly dark blue wand in my hand.
When I received the wand, a gentle breeze blew by, and the tip of the wand shimmered with a faint blue light.
"That's it! A wand made of phoenix feathers and pine wood, suitable for those who are energetic, curious, and innovative. They also possess strong innovative abilities, able to come up with new ideas and methods when solving problems, constantly seeking innovative solutions. Such people usually achieve outstanding success in various fields and become trendsetters." Mr. Ollivander explained the meaning of my wand in detail; it was truly excellent.

Before the new wand had even warmed up, another big new quest came from the night.
(At night, are there any requirements for the books I read?)
[Night: Any books that teach you something will do; fake travelogues and the like won't do.]
(Okay, I understand)
I think I can ask Professor Si for some books from his house tonight. I'd prefer he pick some beginner-level ones that I can understand, as I wouldn't be able to read anything too advanced.
