Chapter 5 Making a fortune

"Huh?" Li Wei jumped up and went to Chen Guojun's side, lowering his voice: "What trouble? Did this kid go too far? Do they have connections?"

Chen Guojun was taken aback, looked Li Wei up and down seriously, stepped forward and reached out to pull Li Wei up: "Come on, let's go to my office and talk."

Lu Feng interjected helplessly, "Boss, he's really alright, let him go back."

Chen Guojun kept walking: "What nonsense are you talking about? Although some things are beyond our control, we should still do our best."

Li Wei's expression was solemn. Based on the worst possible human nature, he guessed that the thugs had been caught before they even started committing a crime. Chen Guojun's lips twitched: "No swearing allowed."

Li Wei closed and locked the door, then sat back down, instantly calming himself: "I didn't yell at him, I was just stating a fact. Let's discuss this properly. Also, don't tell anyone, including my wife."

Beneath the majestic national emblem, in a solemn and respectful atmosphere, the voice representing justice resounded: "Li Wei, for intentionally injuring two people in a street fight, causing minor injuries, considering his active assistance and good attitude in admitting guilt, this court hereby sentences him to three months of detention. If you disagree with this judgment, you may appeal..."

Li Wei breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing that he would only be sentenced to three months of detention. He turned to look at his wife, who was already sobbing uncontrollably, and Lu Feng, whose eyes were red and who seemed about to speak but couldn't. Then he looked at his beautiful sister-in-law and gently shook his head.
