Inside the Hive base, the lights were a stark white, and the air was filled with a strange stench of disinfectant mixed with the smell of blood.
The group, guns in hand, advanced step by step.
The laboratories along the way were all enclosed by glass, and corpses floated inside.
At first, some people in the group thought that the rumors about Umbrella were just exaggerations, but when they actually saw what was behind the glass, everyone's expression changed.
The corpses contained not only adult men and women.

"Stop." The Red Queen stared at them, her voice rising and falling for the first time. "You are causing a disaster."
"You are the one who caused this disaster!"
Almost at that moment, a muffled thud came from the side.
A figure suddenly leaped out of the shadows and crashed straight into the nearest team member.
When the light shone on it, everyone could see what the thing looked like.
Half of his head collapsed, one eyeball hung forlornly on the side of his face, his mouth was torn, and his other eye was nowhere to be found.
It was still wearing the lab worker's clothes, but its chest was already rotten beyond recognition.
The nearest team member froze in fear, his finger on the trigger, momentarily forgetting to fire.

Everyone in the control room fell silent.

"With your current firepower, you are not enough to deal with the current number of Lickers. Even a normal human being cannot withstand them head-on."

Alice smiled humorously upon hearing this:
