Chapter 17 Space Adventurers
Chapter 17 Space Adventurers
The next morning, before Suk even set off, he received a call from his best friend informing him that the meeting place had been changed to a restaurant in the city.
Standing in the training ground, Suk hung up the communication, closed his eyes briefly, and then said to Liu Mila and the others beside him, "Get ready, we're going out for a bit."
At Suk's command, the entire manor began to mobilize.
Aside from leaving one hundred planetary-level guards to watch over the manor, everyone else boarded a C6-class spaceship and went out with Suk. However, they switched to physical flight once they reached the edge of the city. Except for fourteen constant-level guards, including Liu Mila, who would enter the city to protect it, everyone else remained on the spaceship outside the city. With the spaceship's speed, they could reach any place on the planet in the shortest amount of time.
No matter what happens, Suk doesn't intend to let these bodyguards stray too far from him.
However, when entering the city, Suk still instructed these Celestial Stars to conceal their auras and keep a low profile as much as possible, so as not to attract attention.
Sakigawa City is one of the nine major cities on the planet, with a population of over one billion. Skyscrapers rise one after another, bustling with people, and it is a prosperous and lively place. It is also Suk's "hometown".
Crescent Moon Restaurant is a well-known place in Sakigawa Castle. It is a towering restaurant located in a bustling area. The first to third floors cater to the lower and middle classes, the third to sixth floors cater to the wealthy, and the sixth to the thousandth floors are not accessible to ordinary people.
The plaza in front of the restaurant was bustling with people.
"Suker, have you arrived yet? We're in VIP room number 5 on the 127th floor," Saki texted.
Suk, casually dressed in white, arrived near the building accompanied by Liumira and Hail, while the other 12 Star-level beings trailed further away. Gazing at the building, shrouded in mist like a monster swallowing clouds and spitting fog—the mist being artificially created—they appeared quite imposing.
"Did you hear me? Book the room next to Box 5 on the 127th floor," Su Ke said to his subordinates, turning his head slightly. "Don't show yourselves unless I tell you to. Just stay here and keep watch."
"Yes, Master. But it seems that the Crescent Moon Restaurant is owned by the merchant you met yesterday," Liu Mila, who was in charge of intelligence, said with a smile.
"Oh?" Suk raised an eyebrow, recalling the chubby businessman who had brought his two beautiful daughters and fawned over him, then looked at the towering luxury building in front of him and the crowded scene around him. "This businessman is quite capable, isn't he?"
Hail laughed and said, "No matter how capable you are, you wouldn't dare to be arrogant in front of your master."
"I'll go up first." Suk walked into the spacious lobby on the first floor. Two rows of uniformed male and female greeters stood on either side of the entrance; the men were handsome, the women beautiful. "Welcome," a clear voice rang out. Suk glanced around; these weren't planetary-level beings. Not even planetary-level, no legal residency status—they were absolutely at the bottom of the social ladder on this planet, their fates largely uncontrollable. Of course… since they worked in the restaurant, the restaurant would protect them, provided they didn't offend any powerful figures. Even a complaint from an ordinary customer could cost them their place.
There were many security guards in the restaurant, all of them planetary level. If Suk hadn't had some good fortune, he would probably have been working for others and barely making ends meet.
But now... even the mastermind behind the entire Crescent Moon Restaurant has to be extremely polite and ingratiating towards Suk.
"Suk?" a voice suddenly came from behind.
A group of people walked over.
The leader, a tall boy with blue hair tied into small braids and an earring, sneered at Suk. "Is your injury from last time healed?" He was surrounded by a group of boys and girls of similar age, all dressed in rather flamboyant clothes. One of them, a bewitching purple-haired girl, was pressed against him, looking curiously at the white-clad boy, Suk.
"An Tai?" Su Ke frowned. More than half a month ago, he was injured by An Tai and his group.
Recalling the scene at that time, a hint of coldness appeared in Suk's eyes.
"What, you're eating here too? Someone like you from the bottom of society can probably only eat below the 300th floor." An Tai looked down at Su Ke. "By the way, where's your brother Zuo Mu? Why isn't he with you? Haha... It's funny to remember the last time he was crawling at my feet like a dead dog."
An Tai's expression was full of mockery.
There was no direct conflict between him and Suk, but Zuo Mu clashed with him more than once, and out of disgust, he couldn't stand Suk either.
Upon hearing Saki's name, the purple-haired, alluring girl beside him had a slight change in expression.
An Tai seemed to notice her expression, reached out and pulled her close, then slapped her hard on the bottom.
"Do you know who she is? She's the woman your good-for-nothing brother used to pursue. Too bad, your brother was incompetent, she didn't even look at him." The alluring purple-haired girl trembled and lowered her head slightly.
"Hahaha..." The surrounding teenagers burst into laughter. They all came from wealthy and noble families, creating a natural gap between them and commoners like Suk.
Suk looked at them indifferently. In fact, he had almost forgotten about what happened last time. With Suk's current perspective, those things were like children playing house. He was angry, but he wouldn't deliberately rush to seek revenge. They weren't worth it.
But I never expected these people to be so reckless! They just had to walk right into the line of fire!
Just as Suk frowned, about to explode...
"Let's go." After saying that, An Tai seemed to have lost interest in continuing to talk to Suk. He waved his hand and walked towards the ladder with a group of people surrounding him. Judging from their direction, they were heading towards the 300th floor and above.
Unbeknownst to them, a group of powerful, planet-level beings capable of sweeping across the entire planet were hiding nearby, watching them. The Suk they looked down upon could obliterate them with a flick of his finger.
"Hmm?" Suk suddenly felt a jolt in his heart and turned to look towards the entrance of the lobby. At the same time, many people in the lobby seemed to sense something and looked over as well.
A group of people entered the lobby. Leading them was a bald man with icy, piercing eyes, pointed ears, and wearing a grey-blue combat suit. He was strong and tall, his exposed skin a metallic yellow, completely hairless, and carried a massive black greatsword on his back. He exuded an aura of intense ferocity, instantly radiating danger and intimidation. The people accompanying him were of various races, but all shared a similar air; none of them were ordinary.
"It's a Star-level expert!" someone exclaimed in a low voice.
An invisible aura enveloped the entire hall as they entered, and everyone fell silent.
A star level... that's already top-tier combat power on this planet.
Suk saw this imposing group of people and noticed some markings on their bodies.
"An adventurer?"
