"Why did you lie to me?"

He shrugged.

"Great! You've finally agreed to pay the bill. Let's make it clear that this meal is on you, and you can't go back on your word."

She said happily.

"No problem, now it's my turn to ask you, where exactly do you want to go?"

"Go find Enel! Whether he's human or demon, he must die!"

Nami said through gritted teeth.

"Enel? Who is he? Why are you so determined to kill him?"

Brooke looked at her with a puzzled expression.

"He is the owner of the Glint-Glint Fruit."

She glanced angrily out the window, then continued.

"You absolutely must not come with me to find him. I can't guarantee that guy won't hurt you. After all, you're strangers. I think that guy must hate you to the core. He definitely doesn't want to see you alive in this world."

"That's impossible, because we all know his secret, and his secret is not suitable to be exposed to the light of day. Sooner or later he will fall under the punishment of the law."

Nami said with absolute certainty.

"What secret do you know? Tell me."

Brooke asked with great interest.

"Don't ask!"

Nami shook her head and covered her mouth with her hand.

"You really don't want to tell me?"

Brook frowned and looked at Nami.

"It's not that I'm unwilling, you might not believe me if I told you," Nami sighed, looking somewhat troubled.

"Alright, you two can chat as you like. I'm going in to change my clothes first."

Brooke stood up and said.

"Wait a minute, Brook, are you really going to take this risk?"

Nami shouted loudly as she watched his retreating figure.

"Of course I'm going! I've been holding back for three years. I finally have a chance to leave this place, how can I miss it?"

He stopped, turned around, and smiled at her.

"Okay! You must be careful, we'll be worried about you."

Nami waved at him and said.

"Do not worry!"

Brooke waved at him and then walked toward the restaurant door.

After seeing him leave, Nami turned around and looked at him nervously.

"Are you really sure, Brooke?"

She stared at Brooke, who was sitting in the chair.

"Yes! I'm ready, I'll try my best to survive to the end."

Brooke nodded firmly.

"Then you must be careful. If there is any danger, hide behind me. I will protect you. We are teammates, we are teammates who will fight together for a lifetime!"

"I will."

Brooke looked at her and nodded, her cheeks flushing slightly.

"By the way, where are you taking me?"

He suddenly remembered something and quickly pressed for an answer.

"You'll know when it arrives!"

She replied with a smile.

"Reached?"

Brooke followed her through the streets until they came to a secluded alley. The alley was deserted, except for a house that stood there all alone.

"We've arrived! This is it!"

"This is where?"

He cautiously looked around before turning to Nami and asking.

"This is our goal!"

She took a candle from her bosom, brought it close to a match, and then lightly struck it.

"Candle?"

Brooke watched as she placed the candles in front of the room, staring at her in surprise.

"This is Enel's room."

Why did you bring me here? What do you want from me?

He looked at her warily as he spoke.

"Don't call me Nami!"

She glared at him unhappily.

"Why should I call you that? I'm not your fan! I don't want to!"

Brooke looked at her with disdain and said this, then turned to leave.

"Hey? Aren't you going to eat?"

She grabbed Brooke's arm urgently.

"What do you want to eat? I'll go buy it for you. You have to understand that you're a patient."

"No need, I'm already full."

She looked at Brooke with anticipation, wanting him to tell her about the things here, because they were so amazing and she wanted to learn about them.

"I really don't know what you're thinking. You're not hungry, but I am. If you don't let go, I'm leaving."

He broke free from Nami's arm and walked outside.

"Sigh~ You idiot, you don't know how to appreciate my charm."

She lowered her head in frustration, rested her chin on her hands, and sat at the dining table, pondering what she should do. She saw Brooke walk away and chased after him, only to find him squatting on the ground, happily fiddling with the stones on the floor.

Chapter 213: Lightning Flash

"Hey! Brooke, what are you doing?"

"I want to see if the cement here is the same as the bricks shown on TV."

He looked up at her and answered.

"Oh! The walls here are white cement, just like in the TV show."

She pursed her lips and pointed to the white wall next to her.

"Oh!"

Brooke nodded, seemingly understanding.

"Hey! Brooke, are you planning to just sit here forever?"

Nami looked at Brook, who was squatting on the ground, and didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

"Hmm~ I think the scenery here is quite nice, I'd like to stay here for a few more days."

Brooke nodded.

"No, you have to go back right away!"

Nami reached out and tugged at his sleeve, trying to pull him up, but he remained squatting motionless in the same spot, just as he had been squatting on the ground fiddling with the cement.

"Brook, get up quickly!"

Nami spoke to him in a more serious tone.

No, I won't get up.

He stared at Nami with a stubborn look on his face, seemingly unmoved by her words. At this point, Nami was starting to get anxious.

Just then, Seimei appeared with Shuten-dōji!
