Seeing that Seimei was unwilling to talk to him, he could only sigh helplessly.

"Okay, okay, let's go."

He waved for them to follow, and then the four of them walked out of the cave.

………………

After a grueling two-week trek, they finally reached their destination.

"Reached?"

Nami looked up at the towering tower that reached into the clouds in the distance and asked with some confusion.

"Yes, that's where Enel is up ahead. We'll sleep here tonight."

He pointed to the thatched hut in front of them and said.

After setting up the tent, they lay down on the bed, closed their eyes, and prepared to rest.

In the dead of night, the sound of firecrackers suddenly rang out.

He opened his eyes and looked towards the door, where he saw several dark figures hiding in the bushes observing them.

"Heh, what a bunch of rabble, they don't even have this much courage."

He glanced at the men dressed in black outside the window, gave a cold laugh, then lay back down in his seat, closed his eyes, and fell asleep.

When he woke up the next morning, he found that he had changed into the same clothes he had worn the day before.

"Hey, Seimei, how did you manage to do that yesterday? Who is that guy?"

He looked at Portgas D. Dragon and asked.

"Well, you should ask him yourself."

Chapter 211: The Wooden House

He shrugged and said.

"Tch, I won't ask, I don't care!"

He turned his face away and refused to look at him.

"Then you all stay here today and don't go anywhere. I'm going out to find some food."

He gave Nami and Portgas D. Dragon some instructions before leaving the tent.

"You're just a show-off."

Nami sat in the tent and spoke to his retreating figure.

"Hey kid, come out here. We're setting off on a treasure hunt today."

He had just stepped out the door when he saw the man he had met yesterday standing on the roadside, waving his arms and shouting at him.

"Uh...okay!"

He scratched his head and walked over to him.

“Let’s go, the place we’re going to is called Marineford. I know a shortcut that leads there.”

After he finished speaking, he took the lead and walked forward.

Seimei followed behind him, watching his swift and agile movements, and couldn't help but frown.

"Hey, don't you feel tired at all?"

"I'm asking you, how do you manage to survive on so many dangerous islands with such a slow speed? Let me tell you, I'm not some ordinary person like '657'."

He looked at their backs and said.

"Hey, do you even know where we're going?!"

He looked at the guy next to him and couldn't help but complain.

"Don't worry, I know, but I can't just tell you, otherwise how can I guarantee my wages?"

That guy said to him.

"..."

He looked at this oddball, didn't want to talk to him anymore, and followed him silently for a long time. Finally, when he stopped, he almost bumped into him.

"Alright, we've arrived at the place I told you about."

He patted his chest and said.

He looked at the house in front of him with a surprised expression.

"Wow, this is a wooden house. Although it doesn't look particularly special, this kind of wood must be a very precious material."

He looked at the house and said, for some reason, that this place seemed more ancient and timeless than other villages.

"Hey, there's someone over there! You guys go check it out."

Just then, those guys suddenly ran up to the front of the house and said to the two of them.

"Oh? Have newcomers entered our territory?"

"I don't know."

Those guys shook their heads.

"This person is so strange."

"I remember him, he's that guy named Seimei!"

They looked at the man and said.

"Huh? It's him?"

He looked over in surprise upon hearing this.

"It's him! How did you know?"

He looked at those guys with surprise.

"Because we overheard your conversation last night."

They said this to him with smug expressions.

He was speechless for a moment.

"I said, where exactly is this place?! Didn't you say you were going to take me there to retrieve something?"

"Yes, but not now. I think we need to stay here for a few days because Enel doesn't like being bothered by strangers."

He looked at him and said.

"What? You mean the guards here will stop us from getting close to Enel?"

Robin said somewhat flusteredly.

She had originally thought they could use this opportunity to enter the palace.

"Of course, Enel is no ordinary person. You'd better behave yourselves, or he'll definitely kill you."

He glanced at Robin and said.

"Hmph, I'm not afraid of him at all!"

Robin proudly raised his head.

"Then I wish you good luck."

He looked at Robin with a disdainful smile and then walked ahead to lead the way.

"Hey, how could you treat me like this?"

Watching his retreating figure, Robin stomped his foot angrily.

Seimei found their reactions somewhat amusing.

"You don't really think you can defeat Enel with your strength, do you?!"

"Hmm, who knows."

Nami pouted when she heard his words.

"Then let me warn you, he's very powerful, and I guarantee you'll regret it if you mess with him."

Seimei shook his head helplessly upon hearing their words.

Soon they arrived at the place where they had rested the night before.

"This is my temporary accommodation. Please make do with it for now. It's fairly clean."

Brooke looked at them and said, then took a few pairs of slippers from the closet and tossed them to them. Next, she took a few pieces of clothing from the closet and handed them to them, saying, "Here, put these on."

"Thank you."

Nami took the clothes he tossed to her and changed into them. Looking at the gray-white short-sleeved shirt she was wearing, she was slightly taken aback. She had originally thought that they would be wearing robes or cloaks like hers.
